Alleys of Taranto

Taranto is located in southern Italy. The city's older districts show a partly quite brutal decay with condemned houses that look like they could collapse at any moment. Thick iron beams supporting the walls are visible everywhere. But at the same time, there is also an unexpected playfulness in the form of installations and elaborate graffiti. This is partly due to a T.R.U.St project (Taranto Regeneration Urban and Street) that has engaged a number of international street artists who have created over thirty works.
